Welcome to the first entry in the Castley Treatments Blog.  As you can see from the title of my blog my life has two dimensions, well it has quite a few really but primarily I am a complementary therapist and a farmers wife.  I run my practice from the farm which is situated between Harrogate and Otley (West Yorkshire) in the beautiful Wharfe Valley.  My writings on the Blog will therefore be a mixture of my two lives, Today is a very sunny and crisp day  and the fields have a covering of snow, a very bucolic site.  I popped out this morning to photograph my livestock in the garden, yes they are made of chicken wire, but look quite authentic from a distance.  My treatments today have so far included a lovely warming aromatherapy massage using a blend of essential oils including Ginger, Lemon and Frankincense.  This blend not only warms the tissues to relax tense tired muscles but also creates a deep sense of relaxation with the added Frankincense, all this laid on a heated therapy couch, what more could you wish for on a winters day.  Next a pair of feet in need of foot health, a medical pedicure, how I love to do these treatments, my client said he left’ walking on air’. Well I must go now as there is lunch to prepare for the Boy’s,(my husband Ian and Son Richard)
